Information and communication technology (ICT) has become an integral part of life, and for the librarian, ICT in all its manifestations, are vital workplace tools.  ACURIL 2008 seeks to explore strategies and practices that will allow us as information professionals, to develop and use these technologies to the benefit of those we serve.
The Conference will examine leading-edge tools and techniques for information management and dissemination, the evolution of the web and e-resources; successful digital initiatives and innovations, the evolving role and requisite skills of the librarian; and consider other issues of working in a virtual world.
Join us as we we explore the opportunities and challenges of managing libraries in a digital world in creative and productive ways.
